For the 24th consecutiveyear, the entireworld ismobilizingagainstbreast cancer with the Pink October initiative. With anapproach of social and solidarityinvestment, Al Ajial Holding supports thisyear the Oncobelle Association, as part of itsbreast cancer awareness and screeningcampaign.
Initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and organized annually by charities working to fight breast cancer, “Pink October” is an International campaign that has been earning momentum year after year since its creation in 1985. This month is an opportunity to create various activities and events to help raise funds for research, but also raise awareness and support patients affected by this disease.
To this matter, the group Al AjialHodling decided to provide financial support to Oncobelle, to carry out the various actions planned by the Association during this period. Indeed, the Association actively strives for the importance of screening in Morocco but also to raise awareness, inform and communicate around the disease, which is the first cancer for women in Morocco.
Oncobelle is starting, as of October, a mammography screening campaign for 300 women in need and holding a potential risk, in Casablanca’s under privileged neighborhoods. The association will take care at a second level, if necessary, of the full support procedure of proven cases.
Oncobelle’s initiative is perfectly in line with the dynamic of citizenship involvement, crucial subject for the group AlAjial Holding, which actively works to support associations with a social purpose, such as for prevention and care of serious diseases within affected communities.
Al Ajial Holding has always been committed, since its creation, to lead with determination an active CSR policy by accompanying multiple social actions of solidarity, leading to concrete and impact ful results.
About Oncobelle :
Oncobelleis a non-profit organization that works to promote awareness and information about cancer among the population as well as follow-up during treatments. Created in 2016, the association has undertook several actions working closely with populations in order to identify cases, especially with populations at risk and with needs in terms of monitoring and support. The action includes coaching, psychological support, and support for patients during the protocol to help them regain self-confidence, wellbeing and help them find the energy they need during this difficult phase.
